Ravelry At Last!
FINALLY got my invite to Ravelry! Went right in and signed up, but just browsing has confirmed what others have said--this is going to be an INCREDIBLE time-sink! I was able to put up my knitting library (though I just remembered a book that I forgot to add) because I don't have many knitting books. Cataloging my stash ain't gonna happen soon. WIPs and FOs have a little more hope, as I had already had a Flickr account and was documenting my work there. Will have to wait for a less-busy day, though, to get started on that!
I did, however, take the time to join the Sock Wars group! (Details for armament should go up any day, now!)
Just a quick projects update: the baby "jeans" from Knitty are about 70% finished, the newest bobble scarf is about 85% along, and I have made some more decisions regarding my sewing room. The last tea cozy sux (more about that, with corroborating evidence, in a later post), so I'm rethinking that, and the yarn arrived for Kate's pumpkins. I'm also about 40% finished with my secret project, which I will be able to blog about shortly after Sock Wars kicks off. And how did I end up with so many felting projects?
